Depending on how far it is taken and how relevant it is, I also enjoy it. TTD could definitely use more of that (at least in proportion to the amount of fighting).

My first draft had the exact same problem XD I thought that action scenes were what heightened tension in a novel, and I still tend to err in that direction, though I think I’m slowly fixing it.

As for relevant… yeah. Some classic books suffer from that XD

The top score in our team was somewhere around 61k words in one week which is pure insanity.

That’s awesome! I have a really vivid image of it, I had to redye the fabric twice to get it the right shade of green XD I’m still not sure about how I’ll do the embroidery but I know it’s going to be a ton of work XD

Absolutely. Every time I wear a store-bought dress I’m enraged by the lack of pockets. Now, that is the definition of a hate crime.

On a completely different note, have you watched the Chosen yet? If not, do look into it, it was incredibly good! One of their spiritual advisors is Messianic as well and you could really tell and it made me irrationally happy XD

Their Latin pronounciation stank though, and some of the costume design choices are completely wrong *cough* leather armor *cough* but that’s literally the only thing I have to say about it and everything else makes up for it!
