@corkybookworm – A logline is I think used mainly in film, but it’s a one-sentence summary of a story. It should usually identify the main character, the goal, the obstacle, the method of overcoming, and the setting. And thank you very much for your setting questions! I’ll make sure to get a better picture (and, as @archer360 mentioned, involve multiple senses) as I edit! Also, I’m not surprised that you’re surprised she’s nobility. Much of her life in her hometown is not up to the standards of society for her rank, so I rely on the context of previous scenes for readers to know in this scene that she’s a lady. 🙂
