Well, let’s see… A role-play is (from my experience. @joelle-stone , please chime in if I miss anything) a story in which each participant posts from their character’s point of view. The group comes up with a plot/story/whatever (like we’ve done) together. Usually the length of each post depends on the person and the circumstances–the circumstances both in the story and in that person’s life. Normally, the posts address a response to what’s happening (in the story, of course), or the posts responds to another person’s character’s action or something.  Then you just continue the story that way until it’s done!

And yeah, I think the book way would be A LOT of fun, too. However, if we did do it, we would have to probably cut out some characters and POVs, so there’s that to consider 😉
