Erin jerked her hand back as if it had been stabbed. She’d met very few animals who could speak and it was always a shock when they did.
“I…I thought you might like it.” Reasoned Erin. She felt like she was starting to have fun again.
She was completely used to having Sander’s wolf-likeness around, but he stood upright like a human and acted l…[Read more]

Erin opened her eyes to a furry muzzle.
“Sander, is that you?” She mumbled.
The creature cocked its head and Erin looked closer at it.
“A fox? Nice try, castle! I’m not afraid of foxes!” She sat up and examined it. It looked intelligent, and fuzzy.
Erin smiled tenderly at it and reach out to rub its ears.

“I don’t have…any way to help you get home and I…just wanna find my friends again…” Ehud confided.
Erin wasn’t sure how to respond but then he started fumbling in his pocket and withdrew a compass,
“Thousands and thousands of years ago people used to use these thingamabobs to figure out where they were going–this’d probably be worth a lot if i…[Read more]

Heck, girl! I feel that all the time. 😆 When you have no idea what might come next!

Erin kept her gaze down as Ehud approached. She could tell he was worried. She didn’t want that.
“I’m not a heartless killing machine, Ehud!” She burst. Why did she say that? That sounded weird… “I’m just a human who’s lost so much th…[Read more]

Thanks! I found it on Pinterest 😛.
I was somewhere else? Hmm, now I’m not sure. Maybe Erin was sitting around sulking somewhere nearby. I can change it if you’d rather that?

Erin wanted to go home so much she almost couldn’t bare it. She didn’t like any of the people here. Expect Ehud. He was alright. And…you know…kind of cute.
Erin mentally slapped herself. She couldn’t afford to lose track of herself because of the blond, blue-grey eyed boy…
But Ehud was the best of the lot. After he had found her cryin…[Read more]

Erin was faintly aware of something watching her. She always knew when someone was watching her. It was her sixth sense. It was probably a wild animal here to eat her.
Accept she didn’t sense animals watching her. If she did, she’d know every time Sander padded up on his silent paws. Not that Sander was an animal. That seemed a cruel way to thin…[Read more]

Erin wanted to cry. She was in a bizarre location, with bizarre people, and she wanted to go home. No matter how annoying Jackson was.
Not that she never cried. She cried alright.
In the middle of the night. When her door was locked and everyone was asleep.
The glowing book sucking her into yet another bizarre location was fraying her last n…[Read more]

Hans is well. Still the same Hans. XD
Lol, thanks. 🙂 I’ve been singing to myself for so long, I must be getting naturally better.

Hehe, I’m not really sure I can sing for real. 😜 I just hit a note and surprised myself. I’m pretty smooth, but a little raspy.

Heeeey! I’m doing pretty well. I assume you are doing good? You going to *ahem* come back?
That sounds great!

Personally I think I liked the biggest fear idea from the green dinosaurs…but if everyone but me is in favor for the latter, I can’t argue. 😅
(Such a late contribution to the discussion, Emily!)
(I think I just discovered I can sing 😱)

Erin abandoned the shelf, turned her back on Nervous Guy, and frowned dramatically in thought.
Finally she turned back to him. “Since you haven’t shown signs of hostility even after I did, I have concluded that you are, at this current time, not dangerous. Thus, I believe we can be acquaintances. I am not friends with anyone.”
She raised h…[Read more]

Erin looked up at the hole in the ceiling.
Okay, that won’t be hard to climb out of.
She started to shove at the nearest shelf over to it, which took a lot of muscle. It was hard.
After getting it as close as possible, she began scaling the shelves.
