First: this could be described as flash fiction, if you wanted to. I would say that it qualifies very loosely as poetry&#8211; yes, the feel and lyric of it is very poetic, but the form doesn&#8217;t fit into any poetic category (rhyme, meter, blank verse, line breaks, annoying loss of punctuation).</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>1. I noticed that Tolkien uses the atmosphere and the setting to tell more about the character in a way that isn&#8217;t just telling (if that makes sense).</p>
<p>2. I like that just about every other person on the quest is a character foil of Bilbo.</p>
