I gave it a couple suggestions, but overall, great job! One of my best friends is in a similar situation, so I understand (at least partially) what you are going through. The emotions were conveyed well, although there were some parts that could have flowed better. I really only added some punctuation that might help with the flow. I think that eliminating some unnecessary words or phrases might reinforce your main point (I pointed the ones I noticed out in the docs).
