That’s pretty cool! I’ve never been able to come up with content really easily–I usually have to take my time to create content.
I’ve never heard of those YouTubers before… I have to admit I’m really not familiar with the “youtube world,” and who’s popular and other stuff.
Yes, I am definitely a writer. I usually write fantasy,…[Read more]

Nice. Is coming up with content frequently to make videos on easy for you?
I’m definitely into the narrative/plot side of film. As far as favorite youtubers go, I have to say that GoHerping is my favorite. But as far as film directors go, Christopher Nolan is a favorite.
Who is your favorite Youtuber(s)?

Hello,@august-grace
I have not been very active lately, but I was reading over some of your posts and I saw that you are a film maker. Forgive me for being ignorant, as I do not have time to go back and read over every part of the conversation, but I am beginning to dabble in film myself. What kind of film stuff do you do? Do you lean more…[Read more]

I apologize for not being very involved lately–I’ve been rather busy. I hope that I can manage to spend more time in this community in upcoming weeks.

Hello Corine, sorry I haven’t seen your message sooner!
Ooh, you’ve chosen a good subject… favorite books…
When it comes to genre, I tend to read a lot of fantasy. However, I do like several other types of books and am trying to broaden the genres in which I read. My favorite books so far would probably include: “The Inheritance Cycle,” by…[Read more]

Well, introverted-elf, (love the name) developing grabbing plot-lines is something I love trying to do. I’ll see if I can provide some tips. 😉
The first thing I have in mind when developing plots is: what grabs me? What kind of stories interest me? I look at some of my favorite stories and note what about them in particular…[Read more]

Greetings, fellow writers.
For some reason, I have been totally oblivious to anything happening on this side of the chat… I’ve posted a bit in other parts of the guild, but haven’t introduced myself yet.
I’ve been writing for several years now, though I haven’t successfully published anything yet. I’ve written an epic fantasy novel during the…[Read more]

That’s awesome! It’s definitley a good starting step to forming a writing habit.
I personally don’t have a problem with writing too little in a day, but I have problems getting my work to other people so they can critique it. It’s definitely my goal this year to involve more people in my own personal writing.
Anybody have a similar…[Read more]

I agree that villains/antagonist are always the most fun aspect of the story to create. They’re usually what drives the protagonist into his or her mission, so they’re usually my starting point for developing a story. Even if you don’t include a chapter from the villain’s perspective in the book, it’s not a bad idea to write a chapter for yourself…[Read more]

So I went through and read both version a couple of times. The second version definitely depicts Phillepe as a snobby prince well, but there are a couple of details in the first version I liked. (I commented about them in the docs). If I were too choose a version to stick with, I’d probably lean more towards the second version.…[Read more]

Whoops, went back and fixed the code so that it translated correctly… it also wasn’t saving properly on my profile at first.

I’m willing to take a look over it at some point tonight or tomorrow, Sylvie. Would you like us to critique it by leaving comments in the docs itself or on this chat?
