He looked at the wall, eyes wide a moment. Then he timidly reached to touch it. It… was like solid water; his reflection visible in it. How was that possible? And it was so dark, how could he see? His chest trembled, and he looked back to the man with the strange squares.

But his mind returned to the vision again. It was so strange. What was it? How was it made? He pushed on it, hard, seeing how durable it was. But the surface, smoother than the softest wood.

He shook his head, smiling on the inside in awe. Incredible.
