have you seen Tolkien? It’s honesty one of my favorite movies.
Gaaah, no!! I keep wanting to (we even have it at the house at the moment ’cause I wanted to watch it), but it’s apparently it’s not a little-kid friendly movie, so I have to find a time when my younger siblings won’t be watching and when it’s my turn to pick. It’s on the list! Is it good? Is there anything (content wise – like cursing, gore, inappropriate scenes/comments, etc.) in it?
Contrary to popular opinion, I actually loved the Hobbit movies, and while I realize they are completely different than the book, if you can take them at face value they are awesome. In my mind
Really? *surprised look* I think they’re really good apart from the book, but I honestly like the book’s story better. The only unpopular opinion I hold about it is that I think the writers did a good job with Tauriel. I really really wish they hadn’t added Legolas, though. *scowls* So, I suppose they’re good movies if you look at it as Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit instead of Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Does that even make sense? XDD
So many kids nowadays are focused on drugs or suicide, or whatever they want, but it just seems that when they hear about God, they see nothing they would want or need, because they see themselves completely self-sufficient.
Aw. 🙁 That’s really sad.
The problem is, here in the south, so many will say they are saved without actually being saved and so they think they have no need for a savior.
Oof, that’s a really dangerous place to be. *doesn’t know what else to say*
(That makes me curious: where do you live? If you can’t answer, no problem. ;))
fortunately, we know that if God wants them saved, he’ll change their minds!!
*perks up again* YUPPERDOODLE!! We just get to watch. *grins*
