@sam-kowal, I missed that with the pony! I know the name sounded familiar but couldn’t figure it out. Also is it just me or is Braum to much like Gandalf? I feel that eragon is almost a Frodo. And you pointed out the name which is cleaver (for a rip off). It makes it hard cause I have to stop and think about how to say the name because (personally) Aragon/strider is 1,000 times better than Eragon. Now that you say it I see similarities between Eragon and Prydain. However, as many have mentioned it, I can not seem to find any Star warsy stuff. Could you point some things out?

The only thing I do like thus far is the mental link between rider and dragon.  Oh and Tiem is almost like Bree and let’s not forget the Green Chestnut. Put that up against Prancing Pony.
