“And there’s no other way besides this or swimming?”

“Me?” Eliana asked startled. “I don’t know about this… I’ll be the one to fall in the water. What if the vine snaps?”

“Not me!” Julian said hopping up the tree. Following K’Nika’s example he flew himself across and just barely missed the water with his left foot.

“Oh, I’ve never done anything like this before… I guess now would be a good time to try new things.” Eliana said trying to hide her nerves.

Julian looked up the tree Pia was in, “it’s a good thing Lace isn’t here,” he winked.

Ellie smiled but it quickly faded at least we’d know she’s alive…

“There you are,” Julian said, “what were you ladies talking about?”

“Just chatting!” She said with a smile. She looked at Kallun, “do you know how we’re getting across?”

She nodded, “let’s catch up with the guys to see how they plan on crossing. Maybe Kallun knows how to part the waters,” she joked (of course it’s a lot funnier to us for a whole other reason)
