Oh that’s funny! Fawkes is definitely (in my opinion) better than Mark of the Thief. Jennifer A. Nielson is pretty good but her best series by far is the Ascendance Series.

Fawkes is one of my favorite books EVER. And I loooove the Mark of the Thief series too! There aren’t very many historical fantasy books, unfortunately. My story takes place in a fictional world modeled after the Victorian era, around the 1870sish. 🙂

@bama-rose Yup! There are actually some videos about navigating digital information on a YouTube channel called Crash Course. I’ve been watching them and they’re super helpful.

@bama-rose Yeah, it’s hard to know what websites are reliable. I’ve been learning a technique called lateral research, which really helps.
