@Dakota, alright, here’s the next poem! There are a few rhyming sentences… but it’s kind of more free verse, so every single line won’t actually rhyme. Well, anyway, here goes! Enjoy!

 

Strange Little Orchid:

 

The Orchid is quite strange.

She is the weirdest,

The spookiest,

The oddest,

The most misunderstood of all.

Her white and pink petals,

Her monkey-shaped face,

Her lack of eloquent grace,

Create an odd aura about her.

In the garden plentiful flowers abound,

But none make such an odd sound

As that of the Orchid.

The Rose is beautiful!

The Sunflower is strong!

The Orchid is, well, odd.

Flowers laugh,

Flowers sing,

Flowers dance.

But not a single glance

Doeth the Orchid receive.

She is quite intelligent.

She is quite peculiar.

But contemptuous flowers

Label her a geek.

However, the Orchid doeth not seek

Vain and glamorous petals,

But flowers rooted in courage.

In nature springs forth much variety.

The Orchid is strange…

Yes, quite strange indeed.
