I have good days and times when I just struggle in my humanness from missing her.  The Lord does help me in that pain.  I am going through a Bible study called “Finding Meaning in Mourning” and being open to God’s healing.  There are many things about her death that I cannot fully express because a lot has come to light since then.  God heals the pain of loss, but also that of injustices, so that is where my strength lies, knowing that He will bring all to light and that He cares even more deeply about it than I ever could.  There are days when it is hard.  The 21st would have been my parents’ 53rd wedding anniversary.  Christmas and Thanksgiving were hard too, but God keeps reminding me that He is able to sustain us in grief and in times of celebration.  It is often in the dark patches where we more readily see His light, and feel Him walking closest with us.  I still have a lot to learn, and He reveals to me areas where I need to trust Him more.  Thank you for asking and caring. <3
