Nithel feels someone kneel in front of him, but he keeps his eyes shut. Just done.

He wants to cry, but he knew man didn’t do that. Not men. They shouldn’t. Not for themselves. At least… that was how Gabrel was. He trembles a bit, stifling whatever cries would come, trying to.

Then someone touches him. The touch kind and firm. Nithel presses his teeth into each other, hard, but the touch is welcome. Soothing. Wishing for arms around him, Mihael had loved him. But he’s grateful for the single hand on his arm. He breathes in a ragged breath, slowly opening his eyes. Seeing his friend.

He doesn’t know what to do or say. He’s lost. His chest aches, and feels empty. But he’s thankful. So thankful for Alessio.
