Welcome to the Avensbeck Book club! Each week we’ll be reading 2 to 4 chapters of the Hobbit. I’ll start chapter discussions on the Friday of the week the chapters read. I’ll start the next one on the following Friday and so on and so forth.

Here’s the schedule I’ve put together for the Hobbit (There are more chapters on certain weeks than others because chapter length varies):

Week 1: Chapters 1, 2 and 3

Week 2: Chapters 4, 5, and 6

Week 3: Chapters 7, and 8

Week 4: Chapters 9, 10, and 11

Week 5: 12, 13, 14, and 15

Week 6: 16, 17, 18, and 19
