*She lay on her back, letting her legs dangle in the salty waves.  Suddenly, a thump next to her head made her sit up so hastily that she felt woozy.  It was the same seagull.  It looked scandalized, annoyed, and half dead.  It flopped to the deck and seemed as if it had lost the will to live.  She hastily scrambled forwards, ripped a note off its leg, then screamed with joy when she realized it was from Wingiby Iggiby.  She delightedly read it and jotted down a response.  Taking pity on the poor bird, she crept towards the edge of the dock, snuck up on another sleeping seagull, grabbed it by the neck, wrestled with it for roughly fifteen minutes, then tied her note to its leg.  Then she chucked the squawking (it definitely didn’t take me ten times to spell that right)  bird into the air with a whoop of happiness.  She picked up the original bird, gave it an ice cream cone, then went back to sitting at the edge of the dock, swinging her legs and happily sharing ice cream with the bird, which seemed surprisingly  content to do so.*
