Hmm. People have told me the Jews in that time spoke mostly Aramaic? Are you saying to make them speak Greek when speaking to Romans?The Jews spoke Aramaic, and educated people knew Hebrew. The Romans spoke Latin and Greek, though greek was the lingua franka of the empire in general – most people didn’t knew it as first language (that’s why southern Europe speak variations of Latin, not Greek), but most people knew it as a second language, especially in the eastern parts of the empire.
