Thank you! The lover’s name was never told. *Pumps fist* Yes! I was trying to create some conflict there, and show it through Owl’s thoughts and feelings. I do have a couple of ideas concerning Owl’s auburn-haired girl…
I actually wrote that piece of dialogue without that quote in mind, but then my first reader inside the family commented on it, and now I can’t read that part without thinking of Tony Stark. That usually happens to me– I will write a scene or an entire story without realizing that it was ‘taken’ from some other work. It’s awesome that you noticed that, though!
