@steward-of-the-pen Thank you so much! She’s doing good. The doctor said her surgery went well. She had to have another surgery the next day, though, to drain 200 cc of blood from between her abdominal walls. They had had to take off something like 150 tiny spots from her small intestine that didn’t show up on the CT scan, and one of those places was apparently bleeding and they needed to go back in and patch it up better. She has a tube down her nose into her stomach for drainage, so she doesn’t feel like talking much. Which is understandable. I wouldn’t, either XD They have her working with a physical therapist, taking a few short walks here and there, sitting up, etc. I’m hoping to go down to see her early next week after she has most of her tubes removed and can enjoy a conversation.
