I did read At the Foot of the Rainbow. I agree, I didn’t like it as much as the others. I finished Keeper of the Bees, but it’s also not my favorite. My favorite (after Girl of the Limberlost, of course) is probably The Harvester. Or maybe they’re tied. Freckles is really good too!

My favorite Charles Dickens is David Copperfield, and I like The Lord of the Rings better than The Chronicles of Narnia. I started C.S. Lewis’ Space Trilogy because I got a cheap copy of the first book, but haven’t read the rest of the series yet. I found it a little hard to care about, but maybe I’ll give it another try some day. 😀 Did you like it? My absolute favorite C.S. Lewis is Till We Have Faces. Have you read that one?
