Abner: *looks over at Megyn and his face brightens* *smiles* (whispers back) thank you. . . it’s okay
Would you rather die slowly of an incurable disease or be ripped apart by a savage beast?
Abner: *stares blankly for a moment* (in a strange hollow voice) I’d really rather not talk about death.
Adair: Just go ahead and say you’d rather get ripped apart by a wild beast and I’ll do it for you! *fingers something at her side again*
Abner: *looks at Adair in slight shock with a look of pain in his eyes* *looks at the floor*
Me: ADAIR! Would you quit?!
Adair: Then make the coward answer the question!!
Me: He isn’t a coward! Abner? Will you please?
Abner: *nods* *takes a deep breath* I’ll take the second option I mean, it’s more sudden. . . less drawn out. I could die quickly rather than being sick for a long time and someone else having to take care of me. I don’t want to be a burden to anybody else if I don’t have to.
Adair: Oh How THOUGHTFUL of you! I HAVE to agree that I would rather choose the second option! I am not going to give you or anybody else the pleasure of taking care of me!
Francis: I’d- I’d rather die slowly so that I could tell people I was dying and spend as much time as I could with everybody before I died. But then, like Abner said. . . I wouldn’t want to get in anyone’s way. (shakily)-Though I’d rather have someone there. . . I wouldn’t want to die alone.
Phoenix: I-I don’t know. I’ll go with Francis. I’ll die however he dies.
Skye: Wild beast
Judah: Well, it might be more romantic to-
Me: JUDAH! This really isn’t about romance.
Judah: oh, ok, um. . . I’ll die slowly. . . my dog Fritz is always with me and- I-I really wouldn’t want him to get ripped apart too trying to keep me from getting killed.
Me: I think Fritz would die just from losing you Judah.
Judah: I could just give him to @banana-peacock-warrior , that is, if she wants him.
Me: *shakes head* you!
Hector: Better to die at the hand of a friend. . . or the teeth and claws of a friend as the case may be. . . I agree with Abner.
