@princess-foo That’s actually the closest thing I’ve ever heard to a consistent theme for Marvel. We’re talking about that in the first Iron Man for crying out loud.
I don’t remember if I posted on this thread or not but I’m going to repeat myself just in case I haven’t (because I am a full-out Marvel nerd and I can’t stand having a Marvel conversation go on without me):
– Infinity War is in my top three favorite Marvel movies. But it is heavy. I can’t watch it when I’m feeling sad or unstable because it really does depress me. I cried for every death that happened and y’all know how many deaths there are…
– BUT because it’s so sad, and leaves off at a horrible spot, THIS HAS ME HYPED FOR ENDGAME LIKE SOMETHING UNREAL. I SQUEALED. ALOUD. WHEN I SAW THE TRAILER. I am soooo interested in seeing how (if!) we’re getting Tony out of space, Hawkeye/Ronin’s story, the fate of the dusted characters, and maybe t-posing Thanos armor? CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN WHY HIS ARMOR IS JUST FLYING AROUND. PLEASE. I think it looks incredible and I am seriously wondering how I’m going to wait four months before seeing it.
This, my friends, is how to do hype according to Marvel:
– have a successful film franchise
– foreshadow a finale early on
– make part 1 of the finale a total curveball and cliffhanger
– wait approximately 1 year
– release the second part after letting the rumors ferment on the internet
