As everybody knows a giant Word War is going on right now. Happily for all the people participating in NaNoWriMo, because they have double motivation. When they write in their WIP they get words in for NaNoWriMo and for the Word War.
It’s a little bit harder for those of us not participating in NaNoWriMo. At least it is more me…maybe I’m the only one.
It’s the third day of November and I’ve written like ten words. I’m feeling neither inspiration or motivation. And I’m afraid that this month is going to slip away and I’m going to get nothing done.
😭
So, I was wondering if maybe all of us here in New Wessex who are not participating in NaNoWriMo could use this thread to keep each other accountable. We could exchange tips, suggestions and ideas. But most importantly we’d encourage each other and keep each other accountable. Each week we could post how many words we got done and we could help each other set goals. Maybe we could even have our own little mini war to see who gets the most by the end of the month. 😛
I think this would be really helpful for me and would be a lot of fun too.
What do ya’ll think? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Is it a good idea?
