What an awesome idea! Erm, here are a few verses (all from NKJV) about light that I dug up. We could possibly use these to compose a song.

The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined. ~Isaiah 9:2

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. ~Matthew 5:16

The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. ~Romans 13:12

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. ~Ephesians 5:8

(My personal pick would be Romans 13:12, but I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts 🙂 )

Also, this discussion about a Parimi Alca creed reminded me of a poem I wrote at the end of last month, which I called “The Dark and the Light.” Is it okay if I share it with you guys? It wouldn’t have to be our creed, I just had a feeling while I was writing it that I should share it.
