@Overcomer I gladly welcome monkey repellant! 😀 The story? Well, it goes like this.

Once upon a time, Gabby was in trouble. She was responsible for naming a guild, and all the land knew that she was not skilled at naming. She wrote down name upon name, desperate to find the right one for her guild.

The name escaped her.

She had a guildmaster’s meeting, where guildmasters Brandon and Daeus urged her to chose a name. She still couldn’t.

After a desperate struggle, she finally settled on the title of Avensbeck. Which basically means river stream.

As you can see, the name does not have any special significance. 🙁 I do like rivers and streams, however. And I’m sure some significance can be drawn out of it. 🙂 But I did not choose the name because of it’s meaning, necessarily.
