@kate I’m still having a hard time not defending against your suggestions. Do you want the reasons I don’t want to change it?

I hesitate because I don’t want to be fighting against making it better out of pride, thinking it’s all that and a bag of chips.

But I don’t want to betray the voice or, more importantly, the continuity of the piece either.

That’s my dilemma. I’ll have to work it out on my own.

So, with that in mind, do you want to hear my objections?
