Writing was a big part of my school, mainly essays and paragraphs.

That’s great! Unfortunately, it wasn’t that way for me. Up until last summer, I had done zero fictional writing and very very little essay composition.

Fantasy is a good genre, because nothing has to be accurate.

As a guy who is taking in copious amounts of history to write a medieval historical fiction series, I definitely feel ya.
