I agree with that. Knives are great. But so are bows and maces and quarterstaves and rapiers and Japanese war fans and all the other cool weapons out there.

Yes… Calla can be like that sometimes. It depends on who she is trying to protect. And Calla’s suspiciousness is probably a result of her childhood… which I won’t go into right now. She usually tries not to reveal who she is.

Phew. If someone had died, Calla would have gotten mad, and probably would have tried to take on the Immortal and Dagger by herself. (And probably would have gotten killed in the process) We don’t need Calla to do that.

Hello! It is I! I am back– sorry I wasn’t able to talk yesterday… I had a Science Olympiad competition. Anyway, I’m ready to jump back in.

“Aren’t we Mr. Positivity today?” Eero said to Matz. “You’ll be fine, Eiri. Does anyone have a coat or cloak or blanket or something? I normally would, but I can’t find mine.”

As they walked, Eero began whistling again. Calla glared at him, still holding her dagger. After they had walked at least a mile, Calla spoke up.

“Alagwyn’s coming back. She killed a rabbit for food, if we need it. She says there are several caves and crevices in the mountains. She also says that there is a stone castle that appears to be uninhabited.”

Calla frowned. “It’s snow, Eiri.”

Eero put away his poisons and surveyed the horizon. “I don’t know a whole lot about this sort of stuff. Are those mountains over there?”
