@duskflower I’d love to have you beta read. I have the the first draft about 85% of the way finished. For a while I’d thought I’d keep writing straight through the end, but I stopped drafting for a couple weeks due to a minor emotional crisis, and when I returned I found the flaws in my manuscript much more apparent. I’ve decided to focus on revision now, so any feedback I can get is welcome.

I totally agree with you about sequel scenes! I’ll add one between the first two chapters, something that develops Keylori’s past a bit more and makes her feel more well-rounded.

Your comments on theme are particularly helpful. I’ve struggled to pin down what The Lore of Yore is really about– there’s a bunch of great story ideas running around, but I’d like to tie them together with a stronger thematic thread.

What would be the best way for me to send the story to you?
