“Mm.” Leana acknowledged, bobbing her head up and down adorably. Alessio bit his lip, turning an even deeper shade of red. “What if I…somehow hurt him? I mean-“

“Yeah, what if she hurts Alessio?” Alessio asked innocently, fidgeting with even more awkward/nervous energy than usual.

“Thank you.” She added a bit uneasily. “It sounds like good advice. I…thank you.”

She was blushing. He glanced quickly at her, tugging slightly at his hood, then darted a look back at Sir Scary.

“Frankly, it will take weeks, if not years, to teach me enough to stay alive.” Well, Alessio had been conveniently ignored that fact but… “I didn’t get the idea we’d be allowed to stay that long. Things won’t get better, so we might as well start. I’ll follow you.”

Wait but…procrastinating certain demise?

“I’ll call you Saeb Lyn, because you wouldn’t tell me your name.” She told Sir Scary frankly. Bet it means Big Softie, Alessio smothered a little smirk and buried his face deeper under his hood… “And you can just call me Leana.”

“And I’ll call him Big Softie,” Alessio whispered a little too loudly and decided to “cover up” for it by blurting over his remark. “You should braid your hair so it doesn’t get in your face when you’re fighting and it’s a smaller targe- uh…I mean…”
