The girl nearly flinched when Alessio spoke, darting looks back and forth between them. He winced. Couldn’t he just try to be a little more reassuring and it wasn’t even his business he wouldn’t be surprised if she thought he was some sort of creep now! Whatever, as long as he backed off…or was proved to not be a threat.

Alessio just wanted to crawl into a corner and pass out he was so tireddd.

“I am Con Ensin, of Clan Ensin, of House Vizsla. I am the second Mandalorian to be a member of the Jedi Order, the First being Terre Vizsla, the creator of the Darksaber.” The new guy – Con – said. Oh no, he was still going… “I am the Leader of the Elite group of Mandalorian warriors known as The Brothers of The Blade.

“But enough about me…who are you? And what is this place?”

Shut up, don’t over-react and only do something if she’s in actual danger.

“Hello, Brave Counsel.” Did she just translate his name?! Alessio glanced at her sharply. No, that couldn’t be right, but her features were almost – “I am Leana, daughter of Nithel.”

“Nithel?” Alessio stammered “Nithel, son of Father – you’re – ?!”

Honestly even though Nithel had told him he had children, the idea hadn’t quite hit home until now. And for some reason he’d still imagined small children like five or six year olds even though he’d said…

“You’re the eldest then! Um, I mean…” He’d said his eldest daughter was about Alessio’s age…wait… “I…”

His brain promptly short-circuited.
