@naiya-dyani SO, what was it I heard about eye lacerations?

    • Heh, so I might not be using it anymore actually? But the original idea was that I have this character with two scars on his face from a blade. I was wondering how the vision would be affected, and thus his coordination and everything that follows from that, by one of the cuts passing over/through his eye, at surface-level depths. The cuts were meant to leave scars as a sign of cowardice, so they’d maybe be. . . an eighth of an inch thick? I don’t know, I’ve never scarred someone out of malice before, so I wouldn’t know how deep they would be lol. But that’s my best guess.
Like I said, though, it looks like I probably will not be using this after all. :/ HOWEVER, it would be nice to have a medical perspective on comas and whip wounds. I have one character who’s lethally poisoned and treated over the course of. . . an hour? Two? And gotten out of the danger realm, but he’s unconscious until a previous wound is aggravated. Is this realistic, or would he likely be in a coma for a while? Also, I have a character that ends up with some bad whip wounds (*softly apologizes tearfully to character*). By any chance would you know how those would affect my character both in the short term and the long-ish term? (If it makes a difference in your answer, both of the characters I’m talking about are male.)
Also good luck with the RN! Are you in your senior year of college?
