Eeek, I’m really looking forward to seeing what we do with this one!

I think this might be a good one to keep short and sweet, but deep. Maybe we can put the character in a very dark and intense situation, but have them experience hope and comfort through an object that is symbolic of something (like @ariella-newheart said). Perhaps we could build up suspense by not revealing why this ordinary object is beautiful to the character until the end. It would be really cool to experiment with how the character would interact with the object throughout the story. For example, maybe the object gets destroyed, causing the character to feel like her hope is destroyed, or maybe she goes out of her way to save the object and no one else understands why. It also could reveal a lot about the character if she’s viewing the ordinary object as beautiful, for some reason, when no one else is.
