Yes! I like what @j-a-penrose has in mind for the introduction.

For the rest of the plot, I guess we just need to establish what kind of story “You” is writing. Also, has “You” taken the place of the protagonist, or has “You” simply joined the story alongside the protagonist? How do the other characters treat “You”? Do they recognize “You” as the author and treat “You” badly, or do they not recognize that and treat “You” as another character? Would “You” be a supporting character, or an antagonist? And finally, how does “You” get out of the mess and what does “You” learn about the story from the experience?
