@pursuewisdom My break was great! Pretty quiet, with lots of time for reading and writing, which is something I hadn’t had in a while. How was yours?

I would definitely recommend it (and I think @j-a-penrose would too), but I guess whether or not it’s worth it for you would depend on where you are as a writer and how you learn best. I considered theme one of my strengths in writing, but I’m still getting a lot out of it, and I think it has helped solidify and “organize”, so to speak, all the various things I’ve been learning in regards to theme. Also, I tend to learn better with the visuals and the audio than I do when I just read something, plus the fact that it’s broken up into little sections that I can see laid out on the screen makes the huge amount of information a lot less overwhelming for me. So, for me it’s a lot more beneficial than writing craft books.

The website is here, if you want to check out how it works: https://josiahdegraaf.teachable.com/p/theme-mastery/

It’s not terribly expensive—only $137 (or $237 if you get the premium version, which adds on three 45 minute one-on-one video calls in which he goes over your thematic outline and gives feedback/answers questions), which I think is a pretty good price.

Anyway, look into it first and see if it would be beneficial to you, but it gets five stars from me. I definitely understand your hesitance to spend as much as you have on other courses in the past.
