@j-a-penrose What I really need help with right now is brainstorming for the plot (especially the twist), developing villains, and writing a blurb (seriously, they make me cringe more than my first drafts from a year ago). But none of those really fit under the theme.

As far as suspense goes, I want to know how to keep readers asking questions and desperately wanting to know more but without them getting so wrapped up in the plot that they don’t connect with the characters. How do you drop hints that keep them guessing without it becoming obvious or making them feel cheated when there’s a plot twist?

The lessons have definitely helped. My rank on the Writer’s Craft Quiz for Show Don’t Tell has gone from 1 to 4 since we started, and my overall rank is now Advanced (huh?) So thank you and YAY!
