(Sorry for the delay, my brother got engaged and life became very chaotic all of a sudden)

After what may have been hours or minutes – or possibly days, it was tremendously difficult to discern in this castle – and a great deal of winding downwards, the corridor deposited them into a spacious circular room with a few other chambers leading off it through open doorways.

In one room four canopied beds curtained by deep emerald drapes stood to the sides with a heavy oaken chest at the foot of each.  Unglazed windows framed by white linens looked out on either side of the beds.

The chamber across from the bedroom was lined with shelves and overflowed in books and tomes of all sizes and colors.  Jericho was reminded of the library in the Temple of Khorasan, before it was destroyed.  Before he destroyed it…

Finally, there was one room directly opposite the tunnel opening, partially partitioned by a gauzy white curtain.  Something glimmered behind the shroudlike veil, something that whispered faintly.  Jericho sense menace from whatever object stood behind that curtain.
