Scarlet barely had his eyes open when the creature approached. He regestiered it hitting him in the head, but it vanished before he could figure it out. Suddenly his hand began glowing, a intricate circle of light on the back. He stared at it confused trying to shake it off. A spasm rolled through him and he dropped his hand to the sand. Suddenly, the circle on his skin bounced onto the sand, spreading out before shooting a continuous beam of blue light high into the sky. Strange, but maybe someone would see it. His hand had returned to normal now. He hoped someone would see it.

“So this fabric, though seemingly larger woven together can ride the air currents,” Matz touched the carpet. “An amazing form of transportation over vast amounts of land such as this desert.” He tilted his head ever so slightly upward. “The creature was looking for something, you could see it in its stance and the look in its eyes. Or perhaps we are it’s prey and has decided that we aren’t weak enough yet to attack since it licked Eirivia’s hand.” His dark green eyes slid to the right. “Are you looking for something?” He asked, wondering if it was related to the blue beam of light climbin out of the dunes and disappearing into the sky.
