    You’ll do fine.

It’s me against the horrors of physics and the horrors of physics are winning.

    *tries not to be jealous

Hey, you lost spectacularly, that’s the important part.

Oh, it was glorious I would have been dead ten times over. My dad filmed it so I now have visual evidence of myself getting stabbed in the throat so hard I literally spin 360 degrees like an old-fashioned cartoon which is everything I’ve ever wanted out of life

That’s not the first time I’ve heard that said.

Can confirm XD Also during my first fight I was so nervous I started laughing for no particular reason which was just objectively funny.

I know that feeling. After one of my chapters passed 10k words, I was like ‘yeah, I might have to shorten that a little.’ xD

Surprising how easily that happens XD

From what I’ve found, most fantasy and action adventure books that use romance as minor plots do something like that. As long as it’s not abrupt and they ease into the relationship, I’m fine with it. Hard times or personal character arcs turning haters to lovers, or friends to lovers, I love in books, even if it’s not a full romance arc.

Oh, same! I do have a romance arc that goes a bit slower and deeper, and then this one is more just the characters being attracted to each other and setting up potential for a future relationship off-screen.

That’s a good goal. Two more months of 1.5k-2k a day will about do it for you.

*Laughs in writer’s block just struck and I haven’t written anything productive in like two days*

I ran into an issue where I don’t know how my characters would respond to something which ngl hasn’t happened in a really long time. It’s very frustrating.

My main character’s arc is proving to be a lot harder to write than the side character’s POV. That’s practically writing itself. *glares at offending character who is stealing the spotlight*
