Thanks for responding! I was hoping you would because I actually read your post before watching the film and love what you pointed out. 🙂

I’m not one of the haters. It’s much better than The Force Awakens. And I really hope the creative team for the final episode will sort things out and create something that’s epic and fulfilling to SW’s fullest potential (I found it sad that TLJ didn’t accomplish this because I really had very high hopes for it and still stand by my hopes for the upcoming one).

Just curious – what’s your train of thought behind wanting Rey turn bad and Ren turn good?  😀

I thought I’d mention the “radical feminist” concept because quite a few conservative media have slammed TLJ. 🙂 And I wanted to know what you all here at SE thought of it. I think the story greatly suffered from Rey’s lack of relate-ability/humanity: I expected more from something as big as Star Wars, this video expresses fully why I’m critical about Rey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEjkWb2mqdE
