@e_elaine_soup5 So, this is my understanding of the time travel stuff. Ever time a change is made in the past, it becomes an alternate timeline. This timeline is now an alternate universe, and does not affect the original timeline. Cap being affiliated with Hydra, Thanos dying ten years early, and Loki escaping are all in a separate universe. The Nebula of the other universe is dead, but the one from this universe is not connected to her and so can stay alive. (This also makes the alive Gamora not OUR Gamora.) The Avengers left a mess behind in the other timelines, but it is not their mess anymore. It is everyone who is left in that univere’s mess. Cap coming back does kind of mess with this theory, but I am thinking he used the time travel to get back to the original timeline to let the others know what happened.

Also, I think Cap returned Thor’s hammer (HE CAN WIELD THE HAMMER!!!!!), because he left with it, and I don’t think it was with him when he gave Falcon the shield.

I should let you know that my family disagrees with me. My brother thinks that when Tony Snapped, he did, in Brother’s words, “a soft reset” of the universe and erased all the changes while still keeping the Stones. This doesn’t make sense to me, because Nebula should have died when she killed her past self anyways, but we have agreed to disagree.
