Very glad to hear you are over it. I think the taste and smell issue is one of those things that linger but will come back. Hang in there. Praying for your full recovery.
Hey, perhaps all those things your parents said were good for you, but they tasted yucky, you can now eat until you HAVE to taste them. 😛 (Just a humorous thought, to make the best of it.)
Very glad you are feeling better. Are you able to get any writing done on your WIP? If so, how far into it are you, and do you have a website or blog with some of your writing you could share?
I’ve been trying to get up at a good time each morning and write for a while, and then whenever else I have time. College and school is about to start up so it’s going to get tough. I’m about 32k words into my WIP, working on chapter ten right now.
I do not have a website, but I’m considering making a youtube channel or website to talk about books an my book sometime soon, I’ll let you know if that comes to fruition. 🙂
That sounds great, Noah! I would recommend Rumble over Y-Tube, though. There are nefarious things going on there. I personally use WordPress (the free version, for now.) I have no ideas what Ads might be plaguing anyone going there, but I have waited to upgrade until my WIP is complete. Kinda keeping under the radar for now while I run through “the edits” gauntlet. It’s in my profile, if you want check it out and see what I’ve done so far. Once the first book is published, I have paid for a professional author’s that will be developed with assistance from the publisher. I already own a domain name that I pay a maintenance fee on each year (around $18).
32K is great progress! Keep it up, and keep a regular routine cadence, if you can. Don’t know if you have a tablet device or some way to keep notes during the day. I always carried a spiral notebook throughout my years in college. You never know when ideas will come or the plot point will just click while you’re off doing other things, so a ready-to-hand “capture” method is always advisable. Watch out for the girls, though. 😉 They see a young guy carrying a notebook, writing feverishly away, not paying attention to them, it looks to them like a “man with a mission” and they most certainly will come over and ask you what you are writing. Walk wisely. 😊 …just sayin’.

There are nefarious deeds happening in most places, but I think youtube is still a fine place, there are some pretty good booktubers on there right now.
I need to start carrying a notebook around scribbling in it. 🙂
