Yes, those ideas really help! For fantasy, I tend to default to battle scenes for conflict, but that gets fairly boring after a while (plus, I’m not too good at fight scenes either 😛 )

The examples from your WIPs are really helpful! I’m seeing a re-occuring theme of how female characters often bring a different (though not inferior) type of conflict to stories. I’m encouraged to start exploring that in my own WIPs 🙂
