Sassy Sauce (which was the nickname Zanar had given Liorah) and Noble Nose (the name for Gavril) sniped at each other with increasing fierceness until Noble Nose sharply turned away and refused to respond to Sassy Sauce’s scathing prods.

Zanar looked between the two with curiosity before deciding that he should leave family business alone–especially Sassy Sauce’s family business.

A lady with dark curls, who seemed to be Blondie’s caretaker, started  fiddling with something Drone-Destroying Dude had asked about. Her movements became ever jerkier and jerkier with frustration until she whipped out a strange black contraption and pointed it at the screen, which shattered as a bang echoed through the room.

Zanar clapped his hands over his ears and tucked in his knees as he–and everyone else–crashed to the floor. He remained in the Ball of I’m-So-Scared-I’m-Gonna-Die pose until Lady With Weird Boom-Boom Stick called, “Come one, everyone. Joyride’s over Let’s move.”

Zanar stumbled to his feet, tore a hand through his untidy silver hair, and shook his head vigorously to clear it. “Move where? ‘Cause I’d like to go home. After all, I’m pretty sure my mom wouldn’t like me going places with complete strangers in an evener strange place…” He laughed nervously, his nerves so fried he almost wanted to cry–but he would never do that, especially in front of all these people.

@joelle-stone , I wasn’t sure how to get Zanar to notice Riure (I rly rly want them to interact) since he was so busy with the “Boom-Boom Stick” and was so confused, so…. Hopefully soon he’ll take notice of her. *glances at Zanar ruefully*
