@everyone
All of your writing is SOOO good! I love reading it!
You definitely didn’t control Colma too much! You’re good 😉 And I totally get the ‘bad-guyish thinking’ thing; I actually really like it because it makes Ahab really seem to come to life!
Colma stiffened when the word castle entered the conversation – if you could call it a conversation. It was more like being yelled at by a huge man wielding a sword while two other strangers, one floating and also with a sword, argued a bit, too.
Either way, saying castle brought back too many memories, most of them painful.
Shaking out of her dark thoughts, Colma evaluated the threatening strangers. She doubted she could take out the hulking man, though she guessed she might be able to slip in a few blows. As for the hovering guy, who looked a couple years older than her, he possessed a wicked-looking sword, one that could cleave you in two with one swipe. And the boy hiding behind the sofa, well, Colma knew you never dismissed someone until you had them on the ground begging for mercy.
At least the colossal man had sheathed his sword, though.
But this situation was not good.
