Ruby comes from a world where people are named after nature, or the names of Greek or Latin gods and spirits since their names often were translations for nature or natural things.

For example: Ruby’s older brother is named Winter, and their last name is Favonious, who was the greek god of the west wind. One of their friends is named Noctis, (Latin for night) and another is named Gaea, (the first goddess in Greek mythology, and literally the earth itself)
