<p>&#8211; Make memory loss part of your characters arc. For example, if your character was an Enneagram 4 (Enneagram is just way to tell personifies), their self-identity might be <em>really</em> important to them. Which could be a huge factor for conflict.</p>

<p>I like complex stories. I like stories that have a lot of complex, detailed, and hard to solve problems. <p>A &#8220;clean&#8221; book can deal with mature topics but I suppose it depends on how they are portrayed and how much they dwell on the &#8220;details&#8221; as opposed to the consequences.</p>

<p>I can&#8217;t really remember one. I know there was a book that was historical fiction that I read once, and it was really good until the end when it ended so quickly. It was like the author didn&#8217;t want to write the story anymore, so just rushed the ending. It was VERY annoying.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t read enough to find a &#8220;worst&#8221; one, though LOL</p>
