It would be cool to do it from the viewpoint of a character who is dying, maybe in battle, and it’s not the typical heroic death with friends crowding around in their last dying moments. Maybe the character is deathly afraid when they realize they’ve been mortally wounded and are dying alone, but they move into a point of peace. Maybe lots of significant flashbacks. Idk. Just an idea.

(I feel obliged to add that I have never written a death scene. Most of my stories are too funny for anyone to actually… die!)
