Leana’s eyes bugged when she saw the man, the knife. He disappeared as quickly as he’d appeared.

She really wanted to curl into a ball and cry. But no more of that… Leana wiped her eyes with her hands, pulled back her shoulders, glad she had her back against something solid, and looked up at the woman curiously… Not sure what to say or do. When will morning come?
